But at night, Trinity Close turns into one of the most lavishly lit suburbs in the UK, boasting 100,000 Christmas lights and decorations.

Six families in the cul-de-sac have paid around £3,000 each to cover their homes and gardens in sparkling fairy lights, Santas, reindeer, and snowmen that come to life at night.

Nick, 46, and Hazel Gardner, 45, started the tradition 12 years ago with neighbours Chris Woodberry, 68, and his late wife Christine.
